Paving, Fencing & Driveways in Laois

Laois is Farrell Exteriors' home base. We offer driveways, patios, fencing and full garden makeovers around Portlaoise, Portarlington, Mountmellick and Abbeyleix, covering both older county homes with long entrances and gravel drives, and newer estate houses where the garden is often left as bare ground by the builder.

Being based locally also makes site visits, quoting and scheduling straightforward.

Driveway installation is one of the services we offer in Laois as paving contractors — tarmac driveways, gravel drives and block paving are all available across the county, and each suits different houses and budgets. The photo below is a recent tarmac driveway we finished in Laois, edged with block paving for a clean border against the road and lawn.

Whatever the finish, the groundwork underneath is the same for us: proper excavation, a solid base and correct drainage, so the driveway looks the same years on as it did the week it went in.

Being based in the county means a site visit in Laois is usually a short trip rather than a day planned around travel. We can call out to measure up, talk through options and get a free quote back to you quickly, and if something needs checking mid-job we can drop back the same week rather than the next one.

It also makes aftercare straightforward. If you want a small addition later — a side gate, an extra section of paving, a patio cleaned and resealed a few years on — you are not waiting on a contractor to be in the area again.
