Brick & Block Paving
Traditional brick and durable concrete block paving for driveways, paths and entrances.
Brick and block paving are closely related, so we cover both here to make it easy to compare. Both are laid as small individual units on a compacted base with edge restraints, which makes them strong under vehicle traffic and simple to repair — individual units can be lifted and relaid rather than replacing a whole surface.
Clay brick paving is the traditional option. The colour is fired into the clay so it stays rich for decades, and the smaller module gives driveways and paths real kerb appeal, especially on older or red-brick properties. Concrete block paving is the practical alternative: it comes in a wider range of shapes, sizes and colours, and it delivers a very durable driveway at a lower cost per square metre, which is why it remains the most popular driveway surface in Ireland.
In short — choose clay brick if character and long-term colour matter most, and concrete block if you want maximum durability and value with plenty of design choice. We are happy to walk you through samples and layouts before anything is ordered.
