Porcelain Paving

Porcelain paving is the finish of choice for homeowners who want a sharp, contemporary patio with very little upkeep. We install porcelain patios and outdoor living spaces across Laois and Carlow in a wide range of modern colours, formats and textures, from pale stone-effect slabs to deep charcoal tones.

Porcelain suits Irish weather particularly well. The tiles are dense and almost non-porous, so they are frost resistant and won't absorb water and crack over a cold winter. Textured, non-slip finishes are available for areas that stay damp or shaded, and because the colour runs right through the body of the tile it doesn't fade or wash out in the sun and rain.

It is also the easiest surface to live with. Moss, algae and staining sit on top rather than soaking in, so a rinse down brings the patio back to new without sealing every season. Every job starts with a proper look at levels, drainage and falls so the finished patio drains away from the house and stays flat for the long run.
